AUCTION LIAISON
Meet Leslie Westbrook
I’ve had a lifelong passion for art and antiques, first inspired by childhood visits to Los Angeles auctions with my grandmother. That early spark grew into a deep appreciation for fine art, nurtured through frequent trips to Europe, where I attended auctions in London and visited world-class museums to hone my eye.
Over the years, I operated small art and antique shops in Montecito and Summerland, though my career as a travel writer eventually took me across the globe. Wherever I went, I sought out antique shops and auctions, often acquiring special pieces along the way.
What began as a personal pursuit evolved into a professional calling when a friend asked me to help sell an Andy Warhol artwork. I soon realized I could offer something unique—independent guidance and advocacy for collectors, heirs, and trustees navigating the complex world of art sales.
For more than a decade, I’ve represented private clients and major estates, providing research-driven support and facilitating sales through international auctions or discreet private placements. My focus is always on protecting my clients' best interests—and connecting meaningful works of art with their next chapter.
